And its a boy! We just received our referral yesterday!!! He is two months old (born on Thanksgiving no less) and weighs in at a whopping 12 pounds! He has a beautiful head of hair (unlike his father…) and gorgeous eyes (just like his mother). We are extremely excited.
Due to legal reasons, we can’t post any pictures yet, but as soon as we are able he will be gracing the site for everyone to see.
Jess and I are extremely thankful not only the our heavenly Father, but to all of you that have been praying and giving for the last two years. The journey is almost complete.
Except for those of you that owe us baby-sitting. Your journey is about to begin… =)

Our Journey to Ethiopia 
OMGness! This is sooooo exciting! Yes, you two are his Mommy & Daddy but in a sense he is all of ours who, as you said, have been praying & giving that this long awaited day would finally arrive! And on Thanksgiving day no less, how perfectly symbolic! No other child has been so wanted & so prayed for by so many! Praise the Lord!

SOOOO happy for you guys! Hope the rest of the process goes quickly for you and what a chunk 🙂 Our Malachi was 18 lbs when he came home around 3 1/2 months – start lifting weights now!
